Job Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Talent Management, Recruitment, Onboarding, and HR Compliance functions at Public Health Solutions. This position is responsible for conducting full-cycle recruitment, ensuring a positive candidate experience, and maintaining accurate records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct full-cycle recruitment, including creating and maintaining job descriptions, job posting, screening resumes, phone screens, interviewing, and making job offers.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and a professional recruitment process.
- Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Attend and participate in career, college, and community job fairs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies during the hiring process.
- Stay updated on employment benefits and applicable regulations to provide candidates with accurate information.
- Work with recruiters to develop partnerships and working relationships that deliver a great candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Maintain personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
- Complete employment verifications and PSLF documents.
- Weekly update and send IT the DOHMH email list.
- Prepare and email monthly birthday ecards.
- Assist with monthly All Staff Call.
- Support engagement activities and all HR projects or initiatives as needed.
- Prepare and generate ad-hoc reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in human resources.
- Knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Office Suite) and human resources related systems.
- Ability to multi-task.
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
- Attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Ability to take on new opportunities and face challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of integrity, professionalism, fairness, and confidentiality.
