About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen operations at the Renaissance Denver Central Park Hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Kitchen Operations: Oversee the daily kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Lead Kitchen Team: Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition and manage food and supply inventory, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items, test recipes, and ensure consistency in food quality.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Observe guest reactions and confer with service staff to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Staff Development: Provide coaching and training to kitchen staff, promoting career growth and development.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: 1-2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role.
  • Culinary Education: Degree or certificate in Culinary Arts.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and guests.
