Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Rules Engine Architect to enhance our team. This role is a remote opportunity available for candidates located within the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including estimation, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of applications developed for our clients.
  • Collaborate with solution architects and developers to interpret and translate wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements and technical specifications.
  • Lead the technical planning and requirements gathering phases, including estimation, development, testing, project management, architecture, and delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
  • Offer technical support and drive continual improvement of services.
  • Foster effective working relationships with colleagues and demonstrate adaptability while working with team members of varying experience levels.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Rules Management Systems (BRMS), including harvesting and configuring rules.
  • Experience with platforms such as IBM ODM, Pega Rules Engine, and Drools.
  • Client-facing or consulting experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to develop innovative solutions.
  • Flexible and adaptable mindset, capable of managing multiple responsibilities and adjusting to diverse environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including high-level decision-makers.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
  • Experience in developing software using agile methodologies.
  • Proficient in creating, editing, and presenting technical documentation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through various channels (verbal, written, etc.) with both technical and non-technical staff.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is based on various factors, including skill sets, experience level, applicable office location, training, licensure, certifications, and other business needs. The estimated salary range for this role is $73,008 - $170,640, reflecting base salary only and excluding benefits or potential equity or bonus programs.
