This pivotal role is essential for the ongoing success of Gilder Search Group. The Operations Executive will demonstrate exceptional communication and leadership skills, managing all facets of operations while collaborating closely with Corporate Supply, Operations, Distribution, and Sales Teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily and weekly operational schedules and staffing.
2. Monitor and control all expenses related to the regional facility, including facility management, equipment, production, supplies, and logistics.
3. Manage the overall operations of the regional facility, including Production, Quality Assurance, Inventory Control, Sanitation, Maintenance, Purchasing, and Employee Supervision.
4. Collaborate with the Food Safety Manager to ensure adherence to internal protocols and compliance with external audits, while ensuring all operations align with OSHA Guidelines and Primus Lab standards.
5. Ensure compliance with all Famous (Warehouse Management System) procedures.
6. Actively participate in the company’s product recall team.
7. Provide leadership and direction to facility personnel, focusing on motivation, evaluation, guidance, employee relations, and attendance management.
Safety, Health, and Quality Assurance:
1. Uphold and enforce all company policies, procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
2. Foster a culture of safety within the operational facility, ensuring high operator awareness and involvement to achieve zero lost time incidents.
3. Maintain a clean and organized operational environment.
4. Establish and enforce standards and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy workplace, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
5. Communicate with legal and safety departments to ensure all processes remain compliant with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
6. Initiate corrective actions to address audit deficiencies.
Manufacturing Operations:
1. Ensure daily order fulfillment, product traceability, and adherence to product quality standards.
2. Train personnel on the proper use of equipment.
3. Engage in resolving operational challenges.
4. Prepare and manage the annual budget and oversee expenditures.
5. Implement preventive and predictive maintenance systems for equipment and facility upkeep.
6. Monitor vendor pricing and service levels.
7. Develop, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures, adhering to SOPs for all manufacturing operations, including receiving, production, inventory management, and shipping.
8. Meet or exceed labor budget KPIs, such as labor cost per unit and production rates.
9. Review and authorize all operational invoices for payment.
10. Serve as the primary contact for customer-related issues regarding equipment quality and service.
11. Collaborate with the operations team to enhance customer experience and resolve issues.
12. Minimize product shrinkage and maximize yield.
Workforce Management:
1. Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline direct reports.
2. Clearly communicate job expectations and effectively conduct staff meetings and employee evaluations.
3. Manage staffing levels, wages, hours, and contract labor in relation to revenue.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
1. Ability to stand for extended periods.
2. Frequent physical activities, including pushing, pulling, walking, kneeling, and reaching.
3. Regular use of hands and firm grasping.
4. Occasionally lift or carry products weighing between 5 to 50 pounds.
5. Constant exposure to temperatures of 36-45 degrees or lower.
6. Exposure to chemical components.
7. Willingness to work overtime as needed.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Due to the nature of this role, the Operations Executive will be required to sign a binding non-disclosure and confidentiality agreement.
