Chief of Philanthropy

The Alliance for Decision Education is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief of Philanthropy to lead our fundraising efforts and drive growth in support of our mission to empower students with essential skills and dispositions for making better decisions.

The Chief of Philanthropy will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, building and maintaining relationships with donors and prospects, and securing financial support for the Alliance's mission and activities.

• Develop and implement a strategic fundraising plan to meet the Alliance's annual fundraising goals
• Build and maintain relationships with key donors and prospects, including individuals, corporations, and foundations
• Identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities, including major gifts, planned giving, and corporate and foundation relations
• Collaborate with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to ensure alignment and support for fundraising efforts
• Lead and mentor the Development Department team to achieve fundraising goals

• 10+ years of experience in fundraising, including major gifts, planned giving, corporate and foundation relations, and annual giving campaigns
• Strong relationship-building skills and a track record of driving results through effective partnership development and collaboration
• Strategic and innovative thinker with strong execution skills, including the ability to develop clear project plans and goals
• Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork
