Are you a Spring/Summer 2025 nursing graduate looking to launch your career? Our Graduate Nurse Rotational Program (GNRP) offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop your skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.

About the Program

The GNRP is a 14-week rotational program designed to provide graduate nurses with a comprehensive understanding of various hospital units, including the Operating Room, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, GI Lab, and Orthopedic or Oncology Unit. Participants will work alongside experienced nurses to develop their clinical skills and knowledge, while also receiving mentorship and guidance.

What to Expect

As a GNRP participant, you can expect to:

  • Work a rotating 12-hour schedule to ensure 24/7 coverage on the floor
  • Develop your clinical skills and knowledge in a supportive and dynamic environment

  • Have the opportunity to advance your nursing career and achieve your goals
UPMC's Commitment to Nurses

At UPMC, we are committed to investing in our nurses and providing them with the resources and support they need to succeed. This includes:

  • A generous sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 for graduate nurses
  • UPMC's Monthly Loan Repayment program, offering $20,000 in loan repayment paid over three years
  • Up to five and a half weeks of paid time off annually, plus seven paid holidays each year
  • Dedicated career ladders allowing you to achieve your highest potential while rewarding you for your experience and advanced education
  • Tuition reimbursement of up to $6,000 per academic year at any accredited institution, available to employees and their dependents
Placement and Career Advancement

Upon completion of the GNRP, placements are determined by participant preference, hiring manager preference, and business need through a collaborative matching process at UPMC Passavant. Participants will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary from the My Nursing Career Ladder based on their individual experience and education.
