About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Leader to join our team at Ochsner Health. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and leading our team to achieve outstanding outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • Assess learning needs and develop effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Communicate effectively with the nursing team, delegating tasks and managing resources to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Use data and evidence to inform decision-making and drive quality improvement initiatives.
  • Embody the values of Ochsner Health, promoting a culture of excellence, compassion, and respect.
Requirements
  • Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty area.
