Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Claims Coordinator to join our team at Madison Approach. As a Healthcare Claims Coordinator, you will play a critical role in coordinating healthcare claims and ensuring timely reimbursement for patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepares and submits claims to third-party payors to obtain reimbursement for patient care.
  • Enter and reconcile billing and payment data on an automated system to maintain and update receivable status of patients' accounts.
  • Makes inquiries of medical records and admitting staff for clarification of diagnosis, insurance coverage, or for other details necessary for the completion of required forms and maintenance of records.
Requirements

To be successful as a Healthcare Claims Coordinator, you will need:

  • Good knowledge of hospital billing procedures.
  • Familiarity with procedures involved in processing, and in the general type of information required by health and hospital insurance carriers.
  • Familiarity with medical terms.
  • Familiarity with the general functions of a hospital organization.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $24-27 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
