The intern will be responsible for:

1. Monitoring and gathering market intelligence pertinent to BorgWarner's operations.
2. Tracking customer activities for significant communications.
3. Observing competitor movements for critical updates.
4. Communicating regional and global market trends to BorgWarner's sales, engineering, and strategy teams.
5. Locating, interpreting, and presenting data from external sources such as IHS, Global Data, Wards Auto, MarkLines, and Automotive World.
6. Assisting research leads with specific projects, reports, and tasks.Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

- A minimum of one to two years of college experience in Business, Marketing, or Engineering-related fields.
- Excellent communication skills and a keen interest in the automotive sector.
- A strong work ethic and natural curiosity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, or similar is preferred.
- Experience in technical writing or newsletter/blog-style writing is advantageous.Core Values
