Meridian Restaurant and Bar, situated within a premier coastal lodge, is seeking a dedicated Food Runner to enhance our dining experience. Our establishment prides itself on delivering innovative northwest coastal cuisine, ensuring that every guest enjoys a unique and memorable visit. As a Food Runner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the seamless operation of our restaurant, all while enjoying the stunning views of the Oregon Coast.

Daily Responsibilities:
As a Food Runner, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring tables are properly set by clearing completed dishes, replenishing drinks, and addressing guest requests.
  • Delivering food promptly to guests, ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Preparing the dining area by cleaning tables and setting up necessary items such as condiments and utensils.
  • Assisting in bussing, cleaning, and resetting tables.
  • Welcoming guests and responding to inquiries in a courteous manner.
  • Collaborating effectively with fellow team members to provide exceptional service.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
  • Previous experience in food service, ideally within a fine dining context.
  • A valid Food Handler's Card and O.L.C.C. Permit.
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional appearance.
  • Proficiency in the primary language used at the workplace.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods, as well as the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • A commitment to fostering respectful and collaborative relationships with colleagues.
