Hospice Care Assistant

Gentiva Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team as a Hospice Aide. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in need, making a meaningful difference in their lives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist patients with ambulation, transfers, and mobility.
- Prepare and serve light meals and snacks.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as emptying trash and changing linens.
- Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- 6 months of patient care experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology.
- Current driver's license and automobile insurance.
- Current CPR certification.
