Key Responsibilities:
As the Director of Sales and Operations, you will:

  • Lead, develop, and manage a team of Facility Service Managers (FSMs) to ensure exceptional client support.
  • Oversee the achievement of annual revenue and profit targets while managing expenses and contractor margins.
  • Recruit, train, and onboard operational staff, including FSMs and Night Managers.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships, aiming for a client retention rate exceeding 93%.
  • Build and sustain professional relationships with vendors and independent contractors.
  • Ensure compliance of independent contractors with service requirements and client expectations.
  • Promote cross-selling opportunities with the sales team and expand non-janitorial service offerings.
  • Participate in the onboarding process for new clients and ensure all client data is accurately maintained.
  • Conduct regular building inspections and follow up on any necessary actions.
  • Support the development of team members through regular performance reviews and feedback sessions.
  • Engage in fieldwork with FSMs weekly and provide backfill support as needed.
  • Be prepared to travel within the market, up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or operations with increasing responsibilities.
  • A demonstrated success in managing sales or account management teams.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Leadership skills to influence and guide team performance.
  • Expertise in training and developing others to meet performance standards.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • A professional demeanor that fosters a positive work environment.
  • The ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
