Overview

Field Services Manager Monday - Friday

As a Field Services Manager at CSC, you will oversee the daily operations of a team, including Field Service Technicians and Collectors, focusing on troubleshooting, repair, collection, and maintenance of company-owned, rented, and/or leased equipment. You will provide customer support and address inquiries and requests as necessary.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Service and Collections

  • Monitor daily and weekly collection routes to ensure sufficient coverage.
  • Manage service routes to handle case loads, meet service level agreements (SLAs), and retain high-value clients.
  • Analyze and generate reports to track performance metrics.
  • Ensure team members complete safety training and adhere to safety standards, regulations, and policies.
  • Conduct field collections work as needed.

Customer Support:

  • Enhance and maintain client relationships through various communication channels including in-person visits, email, and phone.
  • Represent the CSC brand by regularly engaging with property managers to understand and address their needs.
  • Provide customer service support, addressing inquiries, complaints, and requests as necessary.
  • Monitor underperforming locations to assist in revenue improvement efforts.

Inventory Management

  • Manage and secure company assets, including parts, inventory, vehicles, and equipment at various locations.
  • Oversee fleet maintenance to ensure a reliable supply of vehicles for service.
  • Monitor locations with high service call volumes and work to enhance performance.
  • Submit all billable service work and warranty claims for parts promptly.
  • Prepare customer billing for parts as applicable.
  • Reconcile invoices for parts.

Systems:

  • Utilize and understand systems, tools, and applications to manage work efficiently.
  • Be comfortable learning new technologies to enhance efficiency and accountability.

Key Management Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members while managing team dynamics.
  • Delegate tasks and schedule work to meet deadlines.
  • Achieve annual financial goals and monitor departmental budgets.
  • Support employee development and provide necessary training.
  • Establish goals for the team and individual employees.
  • Manage employee performance to meet daily, weekly, and monthly SLAs.
  • Have the authority to recommend terminations when necessary.
  • Implement, communicate, and uphold company policies and procedures within the team.
  • Train associates and onboard new hires.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

What We Are Looking For

  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; or 5-7 years of related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Associate's Degree preferred.
  • General knowledge of heating and cooling equipment, water heaters, pumps, boilers, and building maintenance including electrical and plumbing systems.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, de-escalate issues, and find solutions.
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and understand general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, financial reports, legal documents, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information to management and groups of employees.
  • Ability to work with various mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
