Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department at Residence Inn Deptford. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and coach a team of housekeeping staff to provide exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all guest rooms and public areas
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to meet high standards of quality and service
  • Manage inventory and supplies to ensure efficient operations
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities and guest requests
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest experience
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve housekeeping efficiency and guest satisfaction

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or hospitality industry
  • Supervisory experience required
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

Working Conditions:

This role requires frequent walking, standing, and lifting of up to 50 pounds. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations is essential.
