Position Overview:
The Room Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring that guest accommodations are clean, welcoming, and well-maintained, while delivering exceptional service to all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meticulously clean guest rooms in accordance with established standards.
  • Prepare for cleaning by organizing guest supplies, cleaning materials, and linens for the housekeeping cart.
  • Remove all waste and soiled linens from guest rooms and corridors.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in hallways, public spaces, and storage areas.
  • Restock the housekeeping cart in preparation for the following day.
  • Replenish cleaning supplies as necessary.
  • Report any missing items from rooms to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.
  • Notify the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager of any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Manage lost and found items according to established procedures.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction through attentive service.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally, and 20 pounds frequently.
  • Capability to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on providing friendly and courteous service to guests and team members.
