About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team at AMFM Healthcare. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support all program staff and clients in the care of AMFM Healthcare
  • Conduct orientations to new clients, including reviewing safety protocols and emergency procedures
  • Coordinate and transport clients safely to daily activities, ensuring timely arrival and client safety
  • Utilize intervention and communication skills in working with clients
  • Document client activities and medication administration using an electronic health record system
  • Monitor and maintain the integrity of the residences, ensuring optimal cleanliness and hygiene
  • Conduct observation rounds to ensure client safety and document client behavior and participation in treatment
  • Assist with intakes and discharges of clients according to AMFM Healthcare's policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check with the Federal Department of Justice (LiveScan) and California Department of Social Services
  • Current valid driver's license with 4+ years of continuous driving history without any major traffic violations, at least 21 years of age
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
