Robotics Technician

We are seeking a skilled Robotics Technician to join our team in Auburn Hills, MI. As a key member of our automation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality assembly, modification, and integration of products and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently achieve high-quality results when working on product assembly, modification, and/or system integration from documentation.
  • Follow step-by-step instructions provided in manufacturing process plans and document all in-process checks.
  • Use engineering design documents to place, assemble, and secure robots and associated equipment in defined locations.
  • Move robots via teach pendant and load, upgrade, and backup FAC software.
  • Define or teach simple robot paths and test or functional verify products and/or systems as defined.
  • Troubleshoot or debug mechanical/electrical equipment and disassemble and prepare FAC products and systems for shipment.
  • Maintain high levels of professionalism in appearance, communication, and work area organization.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a robot, automotive, automation technician or related field.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanically and electrically and read electrical & mechanical blueprints and schematics.
  • Proficient with using hand tools such as screwdrivers, Allen wrenches, and multimeter.
  • Minimum of High School Diploma/GED, Associates Degree in Robotics preferred.
  • Comfortable working overtime and Saturday shifts when needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Robot certifications.
