Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii.

As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to seniors at our facility, assisting with daily activities, physical tasks, and emotional support to ensure their overall wellbeing.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
  • Monitor residents' physical and mental health, promptly reporting any changes to the supervising nurse.
  • Provide emotional support to residents and engage them in recreational activities.
  • Observe and record residents' vital signs, reporting any abnormalities to the nurse.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in residents' rooms, assisting with laundry as needed.
  • Follow safety and infection control protocols to ensure the wellbeing of residents.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans.

Requirements:

  • Valid CNA certification from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience working as a CNA in a healthcare or senior care facility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
