POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Laundry Service Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the cleanliness and presentation of all linens, towels, and other designated items. You will meticulously wash, iron, fold, and organize these items in accordance with established departmental standards, aiming to exceed guest expectations. Additionally, you will maintain the laundry facility's cleanliness, report any equipment issues, and deliver linens to various designated areas within the hotel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform thorough washing and drying of soiled linens and towels.
- Ensure all items are properly ironed, folded, and stocked.
- Maintain the laundry area in a clean and organized manner.
- Report any mechanical issues or damages promptly.
- Deliver clean linens to designated locations as required.
- Restock and organize housekeeping carts following safety and security protocols.
- Return lost items found in guest areas to the Housekeeping department with proper documentation.
- Notify management of any unsafe conditions or required maintenance.
