Job Summary

We are seeking a Transportation Construction Inspector to work based out of our Richmond, VA office, covering cities, counties, and towns throughout the VDOT Richmond District.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid driver's license, be available for overtime and work nights and/or weekends as needed, and be capable of working independently and within a team.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections of transportation construction projects to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
