Technical CAD Drafting Technician

JEO Consulting Group is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive work environment that encourages communication and collaboration. We are seeking a skilled Technical CAD Drafting Technician to join our Water Resources Engineering Department.
In this role, you will produce high-quality technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects related to water resources, including stormwater drainage, dams, levees, lake rehabilitation, river restoration, constructed wetlands, surface water irrigation, and streambank stabilization.
The successful candidate will work closely with engineers to develop sound engineering project designs and apply CAD software to create technical drawings and designs. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing grading plans, surfaces, volume analysis, alignments, profiles, cross sections, and details using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Collaborating with teams, including project managers, surveyors, and engineers.
- Maintaining organized records of project files, drawings, and revisions.
A bachelor's degree in drafting or engineering and experience working in the engineering industry on civil projects are preferred. The successful candidate will also be required to stay up-to-date with advancements in CAD technology and software.
