**About the Role**

Haffner's, a leading wholesale fuel distributor in New England, is seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role involves performing regular inspections of all buildings, maintaining and repairing properties and grounds as needed, and responding to urgent calls in a timely fashion.

The ideal candidate will have general building repair experience, a valid driver's license, and excellent communication skills. Self-motivation, good follow-through skills, and the ability to work alone or with others are also essential.

This full-time position offers a flexible schedule, overtime availability, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, dental, and life insurance, as well as paid time off and education reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on company vehicles and equipment.
  • Respond to maintenance requests from store managers and other team members.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to identify and prioritize maintenance projects.
  • Develop and implement procedures for effective maintenance and repair.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels of maintenance supplies and materials.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in general building repair or maintenance.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.

Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
