About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our patients and their families during this special time.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to laboring women and their newborns, including administering medications, performing vaginal deliveries, and providing postpartum care.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and communication.
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, and respond to any changes or complications.
  • Support patients and their families during the labor and delivery process, providing emotional support and education on postpartum care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices and technologies in labor and delivery care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Within 90 days of hire: National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics.
  • 1 year Nursing experience.
