Position Overview

We are in search of a multifaceted and meticulous IT professional to become a part of our corporate IT division as an IT Quality Assurance/Systems Analyst. This position entails conducting systems analysis and quality assurance tasks, supporting projects that range from small-scale efforts to extensive enterprise initiatives for core applications and systems, delivering end-user assistance, and facilitating business reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and document system requirements, workflows, and processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business needs.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and issues.
  • Perform regression testing and ensure software quality prior to releases.
  • Conduct training sessions and create user documentation as necessary.
  • Provide query results and data extracts as required.
  • Offer Tier 2 support for internal applications and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues promptly.
  • Participate in evaluations of computer applications and tools.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in software engineering, computer science, or business administration, along with a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in System Analysis, Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or a related field, including some experience in a leadership role.
  • ISTQB Certifications are advantageous.
  • The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and the application validation process is essential.
  • Experience in gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements, including identifying process improvement opportunities.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting principles and issue-resolution techniques, including preventive recommendations.
  • Ability to investigate bugs and report issues to the development team using Azure DevOps or similar methods.
  • Solid experience in understanding and creating SQL Queries (SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Experience with SSRS and familiarity with PowerBI or equivalent tools.
  • Proficiency in M365 productivity tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Copilot), with a deep understanding of their functionalities and best practices.
  • Capability to build prototypes and lightweight solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools.
  • Excellent meeting, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Able to assess, estimate, and prioritize activities effectively.
  • Able to lead discrete tasks and overall project assignments to completion.
  • Able to summarize and communicate status and progress on tasks and projects.
  • Able to interact with end-users to assist in troubleshooting.
  • Able to communicate (verbal and written) issues and status accurately and effectively to stakeholders.
  • Able to create and maintain documentation for application team needs and end-user support.
  • Ability to work independently to carry out tasks to completion.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both in-person and virtual team members.

Compensation: Salary will vary based on experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.

Salary Range: $51,700 - $68,900 - $86,000
