Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Steward to join our team at AccorHotel. As a Steward, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen areas, equipment, and dishware.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all kitchen areas, equipment, and dishware are cleaned and sanitized during each shift.
  • Assist in a variety of tasks as requested, including transporting cleaned utensils to storage areas and performing cleaning duties.
  • Operate the dishwasher to clean all chinaware, silverware, and cooking utensils.
  • Maintain the areas in which functions are taking place and ensure all soiled china, glass, and silver are returned to the dish washing area for proper cleaning.
  • Perform general routine cleaning tasks using standard cleaning procedures and maintain safety practices around machinery.
  • Train other stewards as needed and stock and maintain supplies and equipment as required.
  • Ensure all dish machines are cleaned at all times to adhere to health standards.
Requirements
  • Ability to read and speak English language to fully comprehend job requests, caution notices, event orders, and similar written materials.
  • Ability to count service ware during Big Four inventory.
  • Ability to perform duties with extreme temperature ranges.
  • Knowledge of equipment and how to maintain it.
  • Some work experience in stewarding required, with some hospitality experience preferred.
  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
