We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property and Casualty Insurance Producer to join our team at Montgomery Insurance and Investments Agency, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling property and casualty insurance products to business clients, with a focus on profitable growth and customer retention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an approved prospecting and sales business plan to meet annual sales goals
  • Actively contact prospects, schedule appointments, make sales presentations, and close new business accounts
  • Manage prospect lists within our sales management system
  • Provide information and analysis to account managers for submission of accounts to carriers
  • Arrange payment terms for all accounts in accordance with carrier and agency guidelines
  • Support account managers in obtaining necessary information for renewal marketing and delivery of insurance items
  • Maintain current knowledge of underwriting requirements and industry trends
  • Support the agency's overall mission through community and civic involvement
  • Maintain required state licensing and company appointments
  • Participate in special projects as requested
Requirements
  • Current Property & Casualty licensing through the State of Ohio and any other required state licenses
  • Ability to earn additional industry-specific designations (CPCU, CIC, AAI, or ARM)
  • Extensive knowledge of business insurance, including sophisticated and less common coverages
  • Experience in operating in a sales-based electronic environment
  • Familiarity with risk assessment and risk management techniques
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
  • High degree of self-motivation and self-direction
