Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Embed the Company's Vision, Mission, and Values into all policies and practices.
    • Ensure that Safety and Security is integrated within all business processes thereby promoting compliance and enabling the development of a positive safety culture.
  • Project Management
    • Leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, people management, and troubleshooting for aircraft maintenance projects.
    • Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Develops and recommends procedures and methods and prepares technical reports and documentation.
    • Establishes, implements, maintains, and enforces the standards and systems for completion of all maintenance records required by the regulations and customers.
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Communicates with owner personnel as directed regarding aircraft maintenance schedules and budgets including accurate expectations for approvals for return to service.
    • Regularly interacts with customers to promote the Maintenance Department and to measure the level of customer satisfaction.
  • Employee Management
    • Manages, directs, and develops safe work practices for employees engaged in all aspects of inspections, repair, and overhaul of aircraft and aircraft accessories.
    • Participates with personnel actions such as interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees.
  • Qualifications and Requirements
    • Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university preferred.
    • Four (4) plus years aviation maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Ten (10) years' experience in general aviation and/or corporate jet aircraft.
    • Preferred to have one (1) year experience working in a repair station or equivalent.
    • A&P License required, IA preferred.
    • Must possess a valid state Driver's License.
    • Should possess top-tier skills in strategic thinking, financial and economic modeling/analysis, project management, and oral and written presentation.
