We facilitate a peer-to-peer clothing rental model that allows individuals to rent garments directly from each other within their local area. Role Summary:

We are thrilled to present an engaging opportunity for a proactive and imaginative recent graduate. This position offers a unique chance to play a pivotal role in the expansion of our platform in Los Angeles. You will collaborate closely with our Community Manager and Operations Director to enhance user awareness, drive conversions, and improve retention rates.

Work Schedule: This is a full-time position with standard hours from 9 AM to 6 PM. As a startup, flexibility for additional hours during evenings and weekends may be necessary to support community events and initiatives.

Compensation: $18 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Execution:

  • Partner with the Community Manager to devise a strategic plan for local activations.
  • Manage all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, invitation design, and logistics.
  • Engage with participants during events and follow up post-event.
  • Explore opportunities to enhance event visibility through user-generated content and social media engagement.

Content Development and Social Media Management:

  • Stay updated on local trends and create relevant content tailored to the Los Angeles audience.
  • Reach out to emerging content creators on platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
  • Generate original and engaging content for social media that aligns with our brand.
  • Collaborate with the social media team to analyze performance metrics and refine content strategies.
  • Interact with followers across social media platforms as needed.

Closet Oversight:

  • Assist the Community Manager in communications with influencers.
  • Address user inquiries and manage orders for closets under our care.
  • Implement inventory management practices, including audits and maintenance.

Additional Growth Initiatives:

  • Compile lists of relevant local media outlets and potential partnership opportunities.
  • Assist in drafting and tracking communications to targeted user groups.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and complete them in a timely manner.
  • Proactive problem solver with the capability to work independently.
  • Comfortable creating video content and engaging with audiences on camera.
  • Familiarity with social media trends and effective content strategies.
  • In-depth understanding of the local consumer landscape.
  • Minimum of two years of residency in Los Angeles with knowledge of the local influencer scene.
  • Relevant internship experience in fashion, startups, influencer partnerships, or social media.
  • A genuine passion for fashion.

Preferred:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field from a Los Angeles institution.
  • Active involvement in local communities relevant to our target demographic.
  • Established connections with local influencers.
  • Residing within the operational area.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute projects efficiently with limited resources.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
