About the Role

Avanir Pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our Data Technologies and Analytics Solutions team. As a key member of our Data & Analytics organization, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of advanced data science and analytics solutions to support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Data Technologies and Analytics Solutions team, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business strategy.
  • Develop and implement data science and analytics solutions to drive business insights and inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of data engineering and architecture solutions to support business operations.
  • Develop and manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships to ensure effective delivery of data science and analytics solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science and analytics, and apply that knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the organization.
Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in data science and analytics, with a strong background in leadership and management.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful data science and analytics solutions that drive business value.
  • Experience working with large datasets and developing data engineering and architecture solutions to support business operations.
  • Strong understanding of data science and analytics methodologies, including machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science and analytics.
