Requirements

  • Advanced SQL skills, including knowledge of database design techniques and experience working with large datasets.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing methodologies, ETL processing, and dimensional data modeling.
  • Experience working with business users to gather requirements and manage scope.
  • Programming experience in Linux/UNIX environments, including shell scripting.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python.
  • Experience working in big data environments with technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Hive.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with large database and DW implementation (20+ TBs).
  • Understanding of VLDB performance aspects, such as table partitioning, sharding, table distribution, and optimization techniques.
  • Knowledge of reporting tools such as QlikSense, Tableau, Cognos.
Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technology field.
