Position Summary:

ENTEK is inviting applications for a Program Management Scheduler to become a vital part of our team in Lebanon, Oregon.

The Program Management Scheduler plays a crucial role in providing management with essential data to track program and project progress and its effects on the overall portfolio. This role involves scheduling tasks at various levels, including estimates, short intervals, and comprehensive program and project timelines. Responsibilities include developing work breakdown structures, resource allocation, cost management, and budget planning. The Scheduler will also update master and subproject plans as new information arises, such as changes in timelines and delays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update master program and project plans, ensuring subproject plans are monitored and tracked.
  • Stay informed about changes to project requirements.
  • Provide necessary information regarding project schedule content, modifications, or presentations.
  • Document and assess the impact of completed and incomplete work as per the schedule.
  • Evaluate actual progress in engineering, manufacturing, assembly, installation, and commissioning, providing regular updates on the schedule.
  • Collaborate with department managers, owners, and subcontractors to address work impacts and resolve issues.
  • Review project trackers weekly and communicate with supervisors regarding any projects that are not on track.
  • Coordinate with purchasing to ensure vendor delivery commitments are met.
  • Assist in developing working schedules for estimating to clearly illustrate the sequence of work activities and contract durations.
  • Incorporate resource and cost loading data into schedules as necessary.
  • Manage employee vacations and company holidays within MS Project, including the overall enterprise resource pool.
  • Work with department managers to create value streams assigned to significant projects.
  • Support project managers in developing short-term schedules, monitoring their impact on the master schedule, and proposing corrective actions for scheduling issues.
  • Collaborate with project team members to schedule programs and update projected resource utilization.
  • Provide training related to scheduling to various departments as required.

Working Conditions:

This position requires frequent communication, occasional standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods, and specific vision capabilities including close, color, and focused vision. Physical tasks may include climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, and handling. The role may involve lifting and/or moving weights up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment on significant matters.
  • Collaborative skills to work effectively across departments.
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and resolve conflicts.
  • Proficiency in scheduling systems, principles, and practices.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in project scheduling within a manufacturing context.
  • Familiarity with scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project) and departmental systems.
  • Understanding of budgets, labor hour performance systems, and project monitoring elements.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $60,000-$95,000
