About the Role
As an Implementation Consultant, you will work in close collaboration with Project Managers to oversee the deployment of Global Trade software for various corporations. Your responsibilities will include managing product classifications, exports, imports, foreign trade zones (FTZ), free trade agreements (FTA), denied party screenings (DPS), and additional tasks. You will provide essential information and software solutions to organizations of all sizes.
- Client Engagement: Interact with Global Trade, Compliance, and Technology professionals within Fortune 500 companies.
- Requirements Analysis: Facilitate sessions to collect requirements and develop design/solution documentation.
- Process Documentation: Convert client business processes and policies into our software solutions.
- Collaborative Efforts: Partner with internal teams, including Product Management & Engineering, to deliver holistic solutions.
- Software Deployment: Execute technical and functional tasks on medium to large-scale projects.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement test scripts and test cases.
- Issue Resolution: Clarify system issues/problems and solutions to technical teams. Develop solutions to meet client needs.
- Project Leadership: Manage low-complexity projects with minimal supervision. Assign tasks to ensure all project requirements are met.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of Global Trade, Supply Chain Management, Indirect Tax, or Compliance processes. Experience with third-party enterprise trade products (e.g., ONESOURCE Global Trade, Integration Point, Descartes, etc.).
- Process Evaluation: Background in process analysis, design, and mapping.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of databases, SQL, and programming languages such as C# and/or VB.NET.
- Testing Experience: Proven ability to create and execute test cases and scripts.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 10% for client engagements, project initiations, offsite training, and industry events.
- Higher Education Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, International Business, or Computer Science preferred.
