Key Responsibilities- Events and Activations
- Collaborate with the LA Community Manager to develop a comprehensive activation strategy for the LA market.
- Plan and execute events and activations, including location sourcing, invite creation, setup, and teardown.
- Engage with attendees on-site and post-activation to foster a strong community presence.
- Identify opportunities to amplify events through user-generated content, word-of-mouth, and owned social media channels.
- Content Creation and Social Media Support
- Develop a deep understanding of the LA consumer market and create relevant content that resonates with our target audience.
- Identify and collaborate with up-and-coming social media influencers in the LA area to amplify our brand presence.
- Compose engaging content for Instagram and TikTok, including original creatives, relatable posts, and informative content that aligns with our brand values.
- Work closely with the social media team to monitor performance and adjust content strategy to optimize results.
- Engage with followers through direct messages and comments on social media platforms.
- Closet Management
- Support the LA Community Manager in managing direct communications with influencers and owners.
- Handle user inquiries and orders for managed closets, ensuring timely and efficient responses.
- Establish and maintain inventory management systems, including damage audits and cleaning.
- Ad Hoc Growth Initiatives
- Research and identify top LA-focused substacks, niche media outlets, and potential partners to expand our network.
- Draft, send, and track emails and push notifications to specific user cohorts to drive engagement and conversion.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently to produce high-quality results.
- Comfortable working behind and in front of a camera, with a passion for creating engaging video content.
- In-depth knowledge of the LA consumer market and the ability to translate that knowledge into effective marketing strategies.
- At least 2 years of experience living in LA, with a strong understanding of the local social and influencer scene.
- Internship experience in fashion, early-stage startups, influencer partnerships, social media, or related fields.
- Passion for fashion and a strong understanding of the industry.
- College graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field from an LA school (e.g., UCLA or USC).
- Active participation in LA communities where our target audience spends time (e.g., UCLA, influencer groups, fashion communities, gyms, meetup groups).
- Established relationships with LA-based influencers or similar individuals that we can tap into to amplify growth.
- Lives within our core operational area (between or near Santa Monica to Hollywood).
- Demonstrated ability to execute in a fast-paced and scrappy fashion, with limited budget and resources.
- Valid driver's license and access to a car (helpful for event setup and closet management).
