Patient Experience Ambassador

**Job Summary:**
We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Patient Experience Ambassador. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a smooth and safe patient experience, and maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**1.** Greets patients and visitors warmly and professionally, addressing any concerns or needs they may have.
**2.** Assists patients with inquiries, directions, and initial questions, providing exceptional customer service and actively engaging with patients and families.
**3.** Maintains the overall appearance of the hospital entrance, ensuring it's clean, safe, and welcoming.
**4.** Escorts or transports patients who need help to their destination within the hospital, offering wheelchair assistance and carrying packages and luggage as needed.
**5.** Contacts Security, Environmental Services, or Facilities Management for assistance when necessary.
**6.** Maintains a professional appearance, adhering to our uniform and grooming standards.
**7.** Operates the Courtesy Cart safely and abides by the Cart protocols and guidelines.
**8.** Keeps the front driveway clear and unobstructed for patient and visitor drop-off and pick-up.
**9.** When necessary, parks customers' vehicles.
**10.** Maintains strict confidentiality related to work information, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
**11.** Abides by all Arnot Health policies and procedures.
**12.** Follows infection control guidelines and directs patients to do the same.
**13.** Attends all annual mandatory educational programs as required by position.
**14.** Demonstrates the importance of satisfying the needs of the customer/patient by interacting with them in a friendly and caring way, being attentive to their needs, both psychologically and physically.
**15.** Performs related duties as required.
**Required Qualifications:**
High school diploma or equivalent required. Six months experience in a service type industry that includes direct customer contact is desirable.
**Estimated Salary:** $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
