Therapy Support Specialist

This is a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant position at Bishop Gadsden Episcopal Retirement. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to support our Occupational Therapist and physician in delivering high-quality therapy treatments.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with exercises or treatment plans, monitoring their progress and recording health updates.
- Collaborate with the Registered Occupational Therapist to develop and modify treatment programs.
- Monitor resident performance and report progress, assisting in determining the need for continued services or discharge planning.
- A minimum of an Associate Degree from an accredited Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Active South Carolina license and certification requirements as established by state and national board associations.
- Active CPR certification and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to read and analyze common reports.
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
