Position: Customer Care Specialist
We are in search of a dedicated Customer Care Specialist to enhance our service delivery.

Role Overview
As a key representative of VCA, the Customer Care Specialist plays a crucial role in establishing a welcoming atmosphere as we foster trust and confidence with our clients. This position is integral to the hospital's operations and encompasses the following responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering outstanding customer service, which includes greeting clients, managing phone inquiries, and escorting clients and their pets to examination areas. A friendly and approachable demeanor is essential.
- Coordinating and confirming appointments with efficiency and accuracy. Proficiency in computer systems is required.
- Conducting follow-up calls and reaching out to potential clients.
- Communicating and clarifying fees, as well as processing payments accurately.
- Advising clients on products and services, including prescription management.
- Providing information regarding pet care and wellness, including preventive measures for common health issues.
- Maintaining accurate medical records, charts, and correspondence, while ensuring financial transactions are handled with precision.
- Keeping clients informed about expected wait times and any delays in service.
- Addressing client concerns with empathy and professionalism, offering tailored solutions.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility, including managing waste.
- Demonstrating the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and the capability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- This role requires physical activity, including walking, bending, standing, and reaching for extended periods.
