Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the suitability of therapeutic interventions and consult with physicians to adjust orders as necessary.
  • Provide comprehensive verbal and written educational resources to patients and their families.
  • Adhere to established protocols for documenting critical values in patient medical records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate patient care decisions and respond appropriately in urgent situations.
  • Administer airway management, ensuring a clear airway through procedures such as intubation, tracheostomy care, and the alleviation of airway blockages.
  • Deliver care across various patient demographics, including neonates, children, adults, and the elderly, in both critical and non-critical care settings.
  • Implement and manage both invasive and non-invasive ventilation systems for critically ill patients of all ages.
  • Collect blood samples and interpret laboratory results accurately.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in assembling and troubleshooting respiratory therapy equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Associate of Applied Science in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited educational institution.
  • Certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support, along with a valid state license for Respiratory Therapy.
  • Basic proficiency in computer operations.

The compensation for this role ranges from $55.00 to $60.00 per hour, reflecting a fair estimate based on various factors, including the candidate's qualifications and experience. This salary range does not encompass potential bonuses or additional compensation.
