Pacific Care Facilities is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality sub-acute care to our patients. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering direct patient care, implementing respiratory care plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Direct Patient Care: Provide individualized respiratory care to sub-acute patients, including oxygen therapy, aerosol and humidification therapy, ventilator and tracheotomy care, and weaning.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately and timely document patient care and progress, and report identified needs to registered nurses and clinical supervisors.
- Supply Management: Help order respiratory care supplies and maintain a list for the facility.
- Patient Education: Participate in patient and family education for discharge to home.
- Collaboration and Consultation: Utilize available resources in planning care, consult with RNs, medical staff, outside specialists, and other team members as needed.
- Quality Improvement: Continuously review, evaluate, and document the effectiveness of nursing care and client goals for discharge.
- 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy (preferred)
- Ability to relocate to Fremont, CA before starting work
