Job Summary:

This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pool facilities at Trump Hotel Las Vegas, ensuring a safe and healthy aquatic environment for all guests. The successful candidate will supervise pool attendants, manage cabana sales and services, and maintain high standards of guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance and daily supervision to staff in the department, ensuring they meet operational goals and maintain high standards of guest service.
  • Operational Management: Support and administer operational goals, monitor achievements of performance and profit objectives, and adhere to scheduling and budgeting procedures.
  • Customer Service: Enthusiastically support and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards, ensuring customer service standards are followed by all team members.
  • Cost Control: Assist in maintaining cost control methods and procedures, monitoring pars and inventory, and following established quality assurance procedures to ensure acceptable health department and customer service standards.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Check the proper maintenance of equipment and sanitation of pools and bathhouse facilities, responding to guest needs and reporting problems to management.
  • Administrative Duties: Assist manager with administrative duties, as assigned, and resolve customer challenges and issues.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between pool operations and other departments, communicating relevant information to the pool operations staff as needed.
  • Training and Development: Assist in conducting pre-shift meetings, cross-training team members, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality in departmental and company matters.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor accuracy of cabana inventory, daily sales, and revenue goals, making recommended changes as needed.
  • Safety and Security: Make daily safety checks of pool equipment and the surrounding area, preventing accidents through enforcement of policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Complete daily pool operations reports and update/monitor daily payroll, ensuring all associates are punching in/out correctly.
  • Meetings and Projects: Attend meetings and complete tasks/projects assigned by management.

Qualification Standards:

Education: Must be at least 18 years of age, high school diploma or GED required. Ability to present self in a professional, pleasant, confident, and well-groomed manner. Must be tolerant of varying conditions of noise level, temperature (of 100 degrees or more), illumination, and air quality.

Experience: Prefer 1-year previous food service experience. Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Licenses or Certificates: Must be able to obtain First Aid/CPR and Lifeguard Certification and TAM Card.
