This role reports to the Engineering Manager I.Your Responsibilities:
In this position, you will have the chance to assist in engineering tasks across various project sizes and complexities, under the guidance of experienced engineers.
Daily, you will ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and in line with contract specifications, quality standards, safety protocols, and cybersecurity policies.
You will demonstrate your skills by gathering data and aiding in the production of engineering designs.The work model for this role is: onsite.
This position contributes to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in North America.
Main Accountabilities:
Exercising judgment on limited details of work and applying standard methods while preparing project documentation within your scope of deliverables.
Ensuring that the Bill of Material (BOM) for the project aligns with contractual obligations.Providing technical assistance to customers, interacting with official contacts, contractors, and other personnel within your scope of deliverables.
Coordinating with Manufacturing and Testing teams to guarantee that technical solutions are correctly manufactured/staged and tested.
Collaborating with commissioning/service teams to ensure that designs are properly installed and commissioned, and updating engineering deliverables post-installation and commissioning (if applicable as part of the contract).
Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
0-2 years of experience.
Preferred experience in Power systems, Controls, Electrical Circuits, Mechatronics, and AutoCAD.
Candidates must possess work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the US.
