About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Agent to join our team at Fred Beans Automotive Group. As a Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients by handling inquiries, processing policy changes, and offering support for various property and casualty insurance products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Interaction: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person, provide detailed information about property and casualty insurance policies, and assist clients in understanding their coverage, policy terms, and exclusions.
  • Policy Management: Process policy changes, renewals, cancellations, and endorsements, assist clients with claims reporting, and provide follow-up on claims status.
  • Sales Support: Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell additional coverage or services, collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth policy issuance and client onboarding, and provide quotes for potential customers and explain the benefits of various coverage options.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and transactions, ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and state laws, and prepare and submit required reports to management as needed.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve client concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner, and escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor as necessary.

Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Licenses & Certifications: Must hold a valid Property and Casualty Insurance license in PA, and continuing education and training as required to maintain licensing.
