Job Summary and Qualifications
The registered professional nurse is accountable for the admission and care of critically ill newborns in the Level 3 NICU, encompassing assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Additionally, the registered professional nurse prescribes, delegates, coordinates, supervises, and evaluates patient education and the activities of ancillary nursing staff while upholding the standards of professional nursing.


Qualifications:


- Current Florida RN license or recognized compact licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including ongoing eligibility and duration provisions).
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- Current Neonate Resuscitation (NRP) certification or must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- A minimum of one year of NICU experience.
