About the Role

Guidehouse is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level procurement assistance to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Expert-level procurement assistance, including soliciting, evaluating, negotiating, and preparing grants for award; administering grants; and analyzing and evaluating cost and price proposals.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
  • Skilled in using the systems that support procurement services.
  • Specialist support includes but is not limited to: procurement and administrative services, agency contracting, purchase card, training purchases, grants and agreements, and the SBIR/STTR programs.
Requirements
  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma
  • Minimum Years of Experience Required: 0 to 12 years
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office tools and learn new client-specific systems
  • Due to the nature of client engagement, US citizenship restrictions apply
  • Ability to qualify for and be awarded a Public Trust
  • Ability to travel
  • Currently reside in the United States
  • Ability to work onsite at client
  • The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described
