Job Summary

The Tower Foreman will be responsible for overseeing the construction and maintenance of cellular networks, including tower erection, coaxial cable and antenna installation, and RF testing and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and assign daily activities for crew members
  • Monitor crew activities and ensure adherence to safety policies
  • Install and maintain mounts, platforms, antennas, RRU's, TMA, and other related equipment on towers, rooftops, and other structures
  • Install and maintain coaxial and DC power/fiber optic transmission lines
  • Install and maintain microwave equipment
  • Test new and existing equipment, including sweep, PIM, and fiber testing
  • Install ice bridges, cable trays, equipment pads, racks, and platforms
  • Install underground and in-building conduits for electrical and backhaul circuits
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License (strongly preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in cellular construction (2 as a lead)
  • Basic computer skills for equipment programming and site closeouts
  • Sweep & PIM testing certifications
  • Fiber testing certification
  • First Aid & CPR certification
  • NWSA TTT1 & TTT2 certification (bonus)
Physical Demands

The work requires the employee to stand, use hands to finger/handle/feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl up to 90% of the day. The employee needs to have good vision for close work, distance, color discrimination, peripheral, and depth perception.
