Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer II to join our team at Saint-Gobain High Performance Solutions - Life Sciences, Composites & Mobility. The successful candidate will be responsible for pursuing projects that require experience and judgment to deal with a variety of variables, with a focus on increasing production, improving quality, and reducing costs through process, product, equipment, materials, and methods development and improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute projects to improve manufacturing processes and efficiency
  • Develop and implement new processes and procedures to improve quality and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Conduct studies and experiments to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve manufacturing processes and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and maintain a world-class manufacturing environment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 3-5 years' experience in manufacturing/abrasives
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standard
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification desirable
  • Understanding of lean and ability to contribute and manage portions of a world-class manufacturing program
  • Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental laws
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • CAD skills desirable
  • Familiarity with SAP ERP software a plus
