About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Multifamily Asset Analyst to join our team at CBRE. As a key member of our asset management team, you will be responsible for performing general support functions, moderate research, and financial analysis of multifamily properties, loans, and portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor a portfolio of loans and perform quarterly financial statement analysis and review of 3rd party inspections.
  • Track market and submarket performance and forecasts for assigned cities, conducting research for territory markets not covered by main industry research firms.
  • Identify and analyze macroeconomic issues in assigned markets and track major loan events such as interest-only expiration, hedge expirations, and loan maturity.
  • Provide customer service support to assigned loan producers and clients, working with loan servicing companies to meet client needs and requests.
  • Prepare various portfolio monthly and quarterly reports and perform Fannie and Freddie mandated inspections of assigned properties as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university required, with a minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or training.
  • Inspection Certification preferred, with a requirement to obtain and meet Fannie/Freddie certification requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers.
  • Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles, with the ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions.
  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Suite Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
