Xylem is seeking an IT Asset Management Analyst to join our team in addressing the world's most critical water challenges. As a leading water technology company, we are at the forefront of innovative and sustainable solutions.

The IT Asset Management Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the global IT asset inventory, executing and maintaining processes and procedures for tracking and analyzing technical and financial data of company software, hardware, and equipment. This includes planning, monitoring, and recording software licenses and/or hardware assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts and license agreements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of software licensing agreements, enterprise agreements, or corporate licensing programs, as well as familiarity with asset management software and/or inventory-tracking systems. Strong data analysis skills and experience working in data management tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerBi, or similar tool are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the global IT asset inventory
  • Execute and maintain processes and procedures for tracking and analyzing technical and financial data of company software, hardware, and equipment
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the overall lifecycle management processes for IT assets
  • Perform audit & compliance risk reduction efforts through standardization, documentation, and loss detection
  • Track and maintain copies of software licenses, warranties, maintenance agreements, and vendor contracts
  • Ensure tracking and updates of all software and hardware serial numbers or identification tags into a configuration management system (CMS)
  • Generate, distribute, and review relevant management reports

Requirements:

  • University degree or college diploma in the field of Management or similar discipline
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in IT asset management, procurement, or related function
  • Strong working knowledge of software licensing agreements, enterprise agreements, or corporate licensing programs
  • Familiarity with asset management software and/or inventory-tracking systems
  • Strong data analysis skills and experience working in data management tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerBi, or similar tool

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Software Management Professional and/or Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional through IBSMA, SIIA, IAITAM, or BSA
  • Strong budgeting, inventory, and cost-management skills
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
