About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Asset Analyst to join our team at CBRE. As a key member of our asset management group, you will be responsible for performing sophisticated support functions, research, and financial analysis of multifamily properties, loans, and portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise a portfolio of moderate to sophisticated loans, performing quarterly financial statement analysis and review of 3rd party inspections.
  • Present recommendations on observations to management.
  • Supervise major loan events such as interest-only expiration, hedge expirations, and loan maturity, analyzing potential impacts on performance.
  • Provide customer service support to assigned loan producers and clients, working with loan servicing companies to meet client needs and requests.
  • Manage financial statement analysis, property inspections, immediate repairs, and other reports for the asset management group.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for portfolios.
  • Participate in training employees on operating statement analysis, valuations, reporting, inspections, lender consent items, and other related duties.
  • Perform Fannie and Freddie mandated inspections of assigned properties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university, with a minimum of 4 years of related experience and/or training.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Inspection Certification preferred, with a requirement to obtain and meet Fannie/Freddie certification requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers.
  • Knowledge of financial terms and principles, with the ability to calculate intermediate figures and conduct basic financial analysis.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents, with intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
