Your Role:
The primary responsibility of the Senior Wealth Advisor is to nurture new and existing banking relationships, ensuring the effective provision of credit and various banking services.

This role involves:
1. **Active Portfolio Management**: Delivering both banking and tailored lending solutions to a diverse clientele while facilitating introductions to Wealth and Commercial partners.
2. **Collaborative Approach**: Working closely with internal partners, including CIBC Private Wealth Management and CIBC Commercial Banking, to expand our client base.
3. **Client-Centric Focus**: Aiming for deeper engagement with existing clients to drive profitable growth in strategic relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing new private banking lending and deposit relationships.
- Supporting all banking and customized lending solution needs identified within CIBC Private Wealth Management.
- Building trust through regular client interactions and relationship development.
- Managing both new and existing client relationships while identifying opportunities for additional services.
- Partnering with CIBC Private Wealth Management Relationship Managers to secure approvals for new and modified business.
- Identifying product and service opportunities across business units and collaborating on innovative solutions.
- Ensuring consistent deal structuring that aligns client needs with appropriate risk management through detailed analysis and underwriting.
- Collaborating with peers and mentoring junior team members to deliver exceptional client service.
- Completing banking portfolio responsibilities, including reviews, renewals, and collection of essential financial information.
- Maintaining accuracy in risk rating and identifying risks within the assigned portfolio.
- Staying informed of policy changes that may impact portfolio management.
- Representing CIBC Private Wealth Management at local market and industry events to enhance market knowledge and develop new client relationships.

Who You Are:
- A professional with 5-7 years of experience in developing and managing lending and deposit relationships with high net worth clients.
- Holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or Economics.
- Experienced in applying credit expertise and understanding investment portfolios and trust solutions.
- Capable of fostering and maintaining high-level private banking relationships.
- A team player who can introduce the right partners and solutions to high net worth individuals and families.
- Proficient in financial analysis and modeling, with advanced skills in Microsoft Office products.
