Position Overview: The Senior Wealth Management Consultant role presents an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to become part of a reputable Private Client practice at a well-established investment advisory firm managing personalized investment accounts and mutual funds.

As a key member of the Private Client team, the Private Client Investment Advisor will serve as the primary advisor for a select group of clients, collaborating with other team members to foster and nurture relationships with potential clients on behalf of the firm. Establishing and maintaining long-term connections with referral sources such as accountants, estate planners, and professional trustees will be vital for success in this position. A strong communicator and team player, the Senior Wealth Management Consultant will actively engage across Evolve Talent Partners' platform to provide an exceptional experience for prospective clients while representing the firm with professionalism and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of products and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities

  • As an advisor, your responsibilities will include:
  1. Maintaining consistent communication with clients.
  2. Clearly articulating the firm's investment strategies, philosophy, and macroeconomic insights.
  3. Discussing the firm's wealth management services and best practices.
  4. Delivering tailored wealth management services to clients, including:
  5. Engaging in discussions about clients' financial aspirations and educating them on various investment options, explaining how each can impact their objectives.
  6. Evaluating the appropriate risk tolerance of each client, taking into account their long-term and short-term goals, family situation, age, employment, and expenses to provide precise advice.
  7. Identifying client needs and concerns, offering investment recommendations that align with their goals.
  • Contributing to the business development strategy of the Private Client Group by:
  1. Building and nurturing relationships with strategic referral sources.
  2. Analyzing potential clients' portfolios.
  3. Preparing investment management recommendations and proposals.
  4. Demonstrating a passion for generating new business and seizing opportunities.
  • Providing comprehensive financial planning advice and deliverables for clients and prospective clients, including financial planning analysis and preparation of financial plans.
  • Supporting other client-facing members of the Private Client Group in managing client relationships.
  • Maintaining accurate and thorough records of client interactions and requests, proactively communicating action items and compliance matters to relevant internal departments.
  • Developing strong collaborative relationships with key internal departments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, JD) or professional designation (e.g., CFA, CFP) preferred.

Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in an advisory role within wealth management or investment management.
  • Demonstrated success in business development.
  • Consultative sales approach with expertise in investment strategies and macroeconomic themes.

Skills and Competencies

  • In-depth understanding of the Registered Investment Advisor's fiduciary duty, coupled with high ethical standards to ensure clients' financial security.
  • Strong grasp of capital markets, asset allocation, and financial and investment planning.
  • Comfortable discussing financial markets, portfolio construction, and risk management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, both with clients and colleagues.
  • Proven integrity and the ability to build trust with prospects and long-term relationships with key influencers through professionalism and industry knowledge.
  • Ability to make informed decisions and recommendations based on a comprehensive understanding of investment management best practices.
  • Commitment to excellence, reflected in meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills with consistent follow-through.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit to achieve personal and team success.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
